Starting in 2005-06, students must demonstrate profficient math, reading, and writing skills in order to graduate.
There are several ways to satisfy the reading and
writing requirements. You must complete one of the following:
- Score "Proficient" in both the Reading and Writing sections of the PSSA tests during March of your Junior
year. If you are unable to achieve the "Proficient" level when you take the test the first time, you may retake the
test in October of your Senior year.
- An Honors or Advanced Placement English course during your Senior year at Pennridge.
- The Reading/Writing Portfolio during your Senior year.
- Mr. Wachowski's Reading Class.
